I tried the "nfig" changes below and managed to get it to work with a few issues.įirst, developers really should not have to "finesse" UNDOCUMENTED XML file configuration settings. I am using WebMatrix 3.0 with IIS Express 7. In any case, can PHP 5.5 be configured into WebMatrix? Just forget it and use a WAMP stack (since regular IIS doesn't like working with Drupal either - it pukes (with no useful error reporting) over the "web.config" that is distributed with Drupal distributions). IS there any documentation about what is required to MANUALLY configure a PHP "v5.5" folder into Webmatrix, or do we This would seem to make WebMatrix dysfunctional for use with the next (upcoming) version 8 of Drupal. I can find NO DOCUMENTATION WHATSOEVER about how to install/configure PHP 5.5 There are Webmatrix packages to install PHP 5.3 and 5.4, but NOT 5.5. I want to set up Drupal 8 (still under development) as a test platform, but it requires PHP 5.5.
